Hip hop and Shiro Gyaru are the two worlds Duwn keeps coming back to. Bold, expressive, full of attitude in very different ways. "I admire the beauty of imperfection. So my style mixes many cultures and styles."

"I like to use fashion to express the innocent yet sexy spirit within me." Playful and bold at the same time, never one thing.

She gets dressed based on how she feels that day, nothing more planned than that. "I don't have a specific plan for my outfit. Most of it comes from my feelings."

"I'm not a trend follower. I like things that suit me."

"She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something." That quote says a lot about where she's coming from.

When asked what's in her closet that holds the most meaning, she keeps it short.

"My wedding dress, yeahhh."

For anyone figuring out their style

Fashion doesn't have to be complicated. Start with how you feel, not what you see everyone else wearing. Find the things that actually feel like you and build from there. "I'm not a trend follower. I like things that suit me." That's really the whole approach.
