"One of my earliest memories is watching my dad spin deep house vinyl in our basement. That stuck with me."

That early exposure to house music shaped everything that followed. He started producing in high school and things got serious after his first live set. "That was when I knew this was something I had to chase for real."

His sound is rooted in that same feeling his dad's records gave him, but built for now. "High-energy house music with soul." Tech house, bass house, touches of techno, always with something human underneath it. "It's made for the dancefloor but has depth, something that feels just as good on a late-night drive as it does at peak hour in a club."

The music comes from real life as much as it does from other artists. "Transition, growth, loss, and confidence." Growing up on the West Coast of Canada shapes it too. "There's a raw, independent spirit here that I carry into everything I do."

LEMME SEE YA

A collab with Cheyenne Giles that dropped on Dim Mak was one of his biggest moments so far. Both the artist and the label had been on his radar for a long time before it happened. "That was a milestone moment, I've looked up to both Cheyenne and the label for a long time." Getting the track right took a lot of work. "It's call-and-response, high tempo, and super punchy, a lot of detail went into getting the drop and vocal interplay just right."

When it finally played live? "Wild."

His latest release BODYTALK keeps that same energy going. "It's a high-energy tech house record with a hypnotic vocal and some gritty low-end, built for sweaty late nights and big festival moments."

More than just music

Making it as an independent artist today means wearing a lot of hats at once. "It's not just about the music. You're basically running a full business, branding, marketing, content, networking, all on top of producing and performing."

Alongside the music he's building West Coast Residency, his own creative company focused on artist development and events. At the end of the day what he's chasing hasn't changed since those nights in his dad's basement. "I want them to feel something. Whether it's hyped, emotional, connected, or just ready to move, I'm always chasing that moment when a track hits and you forget about everything else."

"Keep building, keep showing up, and don't be afraid to reinvent yourself. That's how I got here."
